Awesome Experience of a Lifetime! Viator review: Masai village visit from Nairobi day tour Meeting the Masaai people and spending quality time with them. Learning about their way of life. They adorned me with their beautiful jewellery which was such fun. My guide Isaiah was also an excellent tour guide. He catered for all my needs and was extremely patient. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide.

Nov 2022 This was simply superb experience. Our driver picked us up bright and early. We skipped the Karen Blixen Museum and headed straight to the Elephant Sanctuary where we were first in line which ensured that we got excellent placement for viewing the elephants. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a remarkable institution dedicated to the conservation and protection of Kenya's wildlife. Their crowing achievement is the elephant sanctuary where they rescue orphaned elephants, nurse them to health and protect them until they are old enough to be re-introduced into the wild. The elephants are simply wonderful to watch and clearly the employees have a marvelous relationship with their resident elephants as there is an enormous amount of trust and love shared between them. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough and I also encourage you to go the trust page and adopt an elephant. You can do so for only $50 a year and the work is so important. You can also follow them on social media. Less spectacular but equally important is the Giraffe Center where you can actually feed the adult giraffes as they are now, for various reasons, unable to re-enter the wild. However, the young giraffes can be raised to be re-engaged in their natural habitats. This was a superb trip. It is worth noting that if you try to go on your own without a tour company, you have to book months in advance. We were able to book the day before our trip and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended. (But also, skip the museum!)

      Touring with Douglas

Wonderful tour with Douglas! Arrived early with water in a nice clean SUV and took us on marvelous adventures. The baby elephants and giraffe were so close - it blew me away. Bonus was the tour was the bead shop where women make beads from Mt Kili clay for the most beautiful jewelry. And I danced with these strong women while they sang & played drums- best day & adventure

      An experience we won't forget.

We booked this the night before we went on the tour and it was very easy and quick to manage. Steve was an excellent guide with a good sense of humor.
